He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Amara and Palma Amara (Solustro). He is survived by: his wife Maria Scalise Amara; his children, Matthew, Sean (Lynn), Robin Conboy (David), Jillian Reed (Scott) and Elizabeth Cahill (Mark); his siblings, Joseph Amara, Josephine Bouchard and Camille Mayer; his grandchildren, Christopher, Kelsey, Jamison, Brennan, Elizabeth, Allison, Jake, Margaux, Marina, Marcus, Sofia and Isabella; and his great grandchildren, Stone and Sage. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
