Lois M. Bettencourt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois M. Bettencourt (Colchester, Connecticut), born in Taftville, Connecticut, who passed away on November 26, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Vernon E. Waldron; and her siblings, Philip Waldron and Gail Blaikie. She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Waldron (Ward); her sons, Mark M. Bettencourt (Tia) of Taftville and Stephen P. Bettencourt; her wife Arcelia of Norwich; her daughter Therese M. Fontaine (Dennis Sr.) of Norwich; and her siblings, Donald Waldron (Patricia) of Lady and Annie Sullivan of Worcester, MA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the Guillot Funeral Home, 75 South B Street, Taftville will be Thursday from 5-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 331 Main Street, Norwich, CT 06360.
