John Zuverink Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Zuverink of Colchester, Connecticut, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elizabeth and Mary Elizabeth (Davis); his former wife Drue; his brother David Lee Zuverink; his stepson Don Hast; and his sons, John Boyd and James Davis (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Alstad Zuverink; his daughter Mary Zuverink Rueff of Virginia; his sister June Elaine Zuverink Ice; his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Zuverink; his daughter-in-law Cassandra Cyr Zuverink; his stepchildren, Linda Eselunas (Donald), Thomas Hast (Terry), Erik Masi (Mary) and Tony Masi (Jason Ortiz); his nieces and nephews, Karen Ice, Kay Zuverink Vitelli Hagan, Sondra Ice, Roger Ice, Mark Zuverink and David Zuverink; his grandchildren, Madison Zuverink (Dylan Tuttle), Michael Charles Rueff, James Thorburn Rueff (Mary-Kathryn), Paige Drudon Zuverink, Rebecca Alferi, Jeremy Eselunas, Tara Hast, Emily Hast (Paulie Raczewski), Zachary Hast, Reese Masi, Faith Masi and Sage Masi; his great grandchildren, Sigge Tuttle, Eulalie Tuttle, Donovan Ingles, Leah Alferi, Sebastian Hast, Spencer Hast, Juliet Raczewski and Harrison Raczewski; and his daughter Mary Virginia (Matt).
