We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2019, John Rota Sr. (Colchester, Connecticut), born in Bozrah, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Celeste Rota and Clorinda Rota (Mangili); his spouse Anne Benedetti; his children, John Rota, Jr. (Deborah) of Clinton, CT, Linda Rota of Portland, ME, Robert Rota (Cynthia) of San Diego, CA and Michael Rota of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachael, Rebecca, Christopher, Joseph, Matthew, Lauren Rota, Annah Thayer and Emily Rota Colello; and his great grandchildren, Kyla Larkin, Emma Rota, Madison Coombs, Elsie Thayer, Ralph Rota and Jayson Mullen. He was also cherished by friends for his loyalty as a good husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
