He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hirsch and Charlotte Hirsch; and his brother-in-law Eric Hamel. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Hirsch; his children, Lisa Hirsch Lozano (Gualberto) of Los Angeles, CA, Megan Hirsch (Jeffery Strong) of East Hampton and John Eric Hirsch of Los Angeles, CA; his granddaughter Diana Lozano of Los Angeles, CA; his sister Judith Hirsch (Angel Alicea) of Hastings; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Hamel of Niantic; and his brother-in-law Joseph Hamel (Carol) of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by wife, especially in their motorhome, spending time with his three children, and doting on his granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Colchester Federated Church or the Gardner Lake Volunteer Fire Company.
