The memory of Joann Damiata of Colchester, Connecticut, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Damiata and Anna Damiata (Gigante); and her siblings, Ricky Damiata and Janet Naples. She is survived by: her niece Samantha Naples of Hamden; her daughter Jessica Van Rheen (Scalice) of Willimantic; her brothers, Joseph Damiata Jr. of Middlefield and Michael Damiata of Colchester; and her nieces and nephews, Joey, Jennifer, Erica and Kristofer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (506 Main St, Cromwell, CT 06416). A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation.
