As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Dobrowolsky and Clara Dobrowolsky. She is survived by: her husband James Dauber; her daughter Holly Dauber; and her grandsons, Nathaniel and Samuel Laird.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Parish in St. Andrew Church (128 Norwich Ave, Colchester, CT 06415).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joan C. Dauber Food Bank, the American Red Cross, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
