It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Gabriel of Colchester, Connecticut, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph; his sister Carrie Gabriel; and his father-in-law Edward Zakowski. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Gabriel (Zakowski); his daughter Megan Gabriel of Colchester; his brother Brett; his sister-in-law Kristin Gabriel of Tolland; his nieces, Anna Gabriel and Mary Gabriel; his uncle Cecil Gabriel of Stratford, CT.; his mother-in-law Patricia Zakowski of Bolton; his brother Brent; his sister-in-law Beth Zakowski of Bolton; his nephews, Matthew, Michael, Aiden and Jonas Kiss; and his niece Isabella Zakowski.
