He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Angela Chrystal and James Chrystal Jr. of Colchester, CT; and his grandchildren, Dylan Dinsmoor of Colchester, Meleena Campisi of East Hampton, James Chrystal III of Portland and Taylor Chrystal of Tennessee.
