She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hamel and Laurence Hamel (Ricard); her daughter Kathy Gardner; and her siblings, Dorothy Smith and Louis Hamel.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Woods, Jr. (Carol), Gary Woods (Nancy) of Lowell, MA, Cyndy Woods of Clearwater, FL and Karen Conroy (Ray); and her siblings, Donald Hamel, Joanne Hamel, Jeanne Leduc, Norman Leduc of Tyngsboro, MA, Pat Curtis and Dick Curtis. She is also survived by two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
