She was predeceased by: her siblings, Cynthia Ewell and Michael; and her friend Brian Donovan. She is survived by: her parents, Nona Marie and Joseph E. Coffey Jr; her sister Ellen Tedford; her daughters, Megan Breen, Kaylin Kinder and Taryn Breen; and her grandsons, Caden Kinder and Brodie Kinder.

Donations in her name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
