He was predeceased by: his father Richard P. Anselmo Sr.; and his brother Richard P. Anselmo Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Davis; his sisters, Suzanne Bartley and Christine Beasley; his daughters, Sydney Anselmo, Zoe Anselmo, Toni Czarnota and Amanda Broccoli; and his grandchildren, Caden Scarvino and Bella Broccoli.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please make a donation in Joseph's name to St. Alexis Orthodox Church 108 East Main St., Clinton, CT 06413.
