He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Rosemarie Cervero Sortito of Clinton; his children, Jennifer Sortito of East Haven and John M. Sortito, Jr. of West Haven; his parents, James Sortito and Assunta Borelli Sortito; his sibling Mary Ann Pace (Michael) of Clinton; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Dwyer of North Branford, Uncle of Donna, Prete, Michele Rowe (Kenneth), Shawn Dwyer (Haley Lutar) and Melissa Piche (Richard). He was also cherished by nieces and 2 great nephews.
