Breckbill of Chester, Connecticut, born in Stafford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Fitzpatrick (Manion) and Francis Fitzpatrick; her husband Edmond Breckbill; her siblings, Frank (Betty Fitzpatrick), Ellen (Charlie Talmadge), Betty (Bill Collins) and Lorraine Thompson; and her sister-in-law Madeleine "Dainey" (Joe Driscoll).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Byrnes (Bill Alexson) of Burlington, Steven Breckbill (Kathy) of Takoma Park, Linda Russo (Seb) of Terryville, Nancy Hinchey of Chester, Ann Gittleman of Glastonbury and Karen Cohen (Jeff) of Hebron; her sister Kathryn Fitzpatrick of Deep River; her niece Barbara Talmadge Sieber; and her nephew Fran Collins. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chester Hose Company, Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley, or St. Joseph's Church.
