He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scherber and Helen Scherber (Marek); and his son Bryan J. Scherber. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Scherber (Dunn); his sons, Kevin Scherber (Gena), George Scherber (Amber) of Old Saybrook and Keith Scherber (Maria) of Chester; his sister Helen Kerkes (Robert) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Abby, Josh, Libby, Grace, Eliza, Ethan, Emma, Adam, Jesse, Breana and Bradley; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Corjean and Coriana.
