With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Richard Johnston of Cheshire, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, David P. Johnston and Eunice Johnston (McBride) of Cheshire; his fiancée Lisa Smead; his brother Bruce Johnston (Hana) of Bradenton, FL; his children, Mike (Mikala), Nic and Alicia; his grandchildren, Brooks, Quinn and Andie; his sister Laurie Johnston Goldreich of East Lyme; his nieces and nephews, Zach, Hannah and Liv; his stepson Andrew Smead of Seymour; and his stepgrandchildren, Aiden, Mason, Madalina and Nora.
Memorial donations may be made in Steven's name to the Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department, 245 South Main St., Thomaston, CT 06787.
