With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Gleeton of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson McCoy and Ruth McCoy; and her husband Richard. She is survived by: her children, Mary Schoonmaker (Jon), Tom Gleeton (Sarah) and Nan Conlon (Dave); her grandchildren, Dennis Schoonmaker (Juana), Mark Schoonmaker, Patrick Gleeton (Lauren), Molly Gleeton, Lincoln Gleeton, Kacey Conlon and Tommy Conlon; and her great grandchildren, Max, Mateo, Maddox Schoonmaker and Wynne Gleeton.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library (https://www.cheshirelibrary.org).
