It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne B. Buckheit of Cheshire, Connecticut, born in Seneca Falls, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Buckheit; her parents, Albert DeJohn and Anna DeJohn (Rizzieri); and her brother Richard DeJohn. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas DeJohn (Karen) and Beverly Fordon (late John Fordon); her sisters-in-law, Linda DeJohn and Joan Maio (Buckheit); and her children, Jim Buckheit, Carol Buckheit (Omayra Rodriguez), Christine Skinner (Michael Skinner), Janet Buckheit Getz, Steven Buckheit (Eileen Carey) and Mary Buckheit. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, godchildren, and friends.
