He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Coughlan (Duggan); and his parents, Frederick Coughlan and Irene Coughlan (Sullivan). He is survived by: his daughter Mary Basile; his son-in-law Barry (Tony Coughlan) of North Granby; his grandchildren, Lauren Basile (Drew Nash) of Golden, CO, Sarah (Basile), Christopher Phelan of West Hartford, Eric Basile of Boston, MA and Tyler Coughlan of Southport; his great grandchild Madeline Phelan; and his friend UConn.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Fred's name can be made to the Cheshire Community Food Pantry or Saint Bridget Catholic School.
