It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther M. Tompkinson of Cheshire, Connecticut, born in West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Rene H. Tompkinson; and her parents, Edwin Benson and Amanda Persson Benson. She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Marshall Dennis) and Mark (Cheryl Tompkinson); and her grandchildren, Joshua Dennis (Katherine), Ian Dennis (Rosa), Amanda Tompkinson, Brian Tompkinson (Tiffany) and Alicia Steinhauer (Eric). She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.
