She was predeceased by: her husband Carl F. Hellendrung; her parents, Joseph Pechalonis and Gertrude Pechalonis; and her siblings, Anna, Charles, Stanley, John, Peter, Mary and Edward.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Picozzi (Robert) and Karen Hellendrung; her grandson Michael Picozzi; and her nephew Stanley Pechalonis (Donna). She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, countless great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bertha's name to Saint Bridget of Sweden or the Cheshire Community Food Pantry.
