Alec A. Vlahos Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alec A. Vlahos Jr. of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alec A. Vlahos Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec A. Vlahos and Valarie Vlahos (Ray); and his brother John David Vlahos. He is survived by: his wife Dawna R. Vlahos (Horton); his children, Nicholas A. Vlahos of Cheshire and Andrea J. Ober (Nicholas) of Naugatuck; his siblings, Faith M. McRobbie (Mark Purdy) of Derry, NH, Anthony D. Vlahos (Karen) and Noah Vlahos (Beth) of Swampscott, MA; his grandsons, Matthew, Nathan and Alec; and his friends, Jim, Eileen Newton, Mike and Sandra Zambruski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Homes - Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A prayer will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (937 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Cheshire Hillside Cemetery (166 Wallingford Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410).
