We bid farewell to John A. Chapman Sr. of Chaplin, Connecticut, born in Norwich, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 19, 2024 at the age of 83. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chauncy Chapman and Jennie Chapman (Barbetta). He is survived by: his brother Walter (Jane); his close friend Jackie Ausberger; his sons, John Jr. (Helene) and Thomas (Diana); his grandchildren, John Chapman III (Erin), Jennifer Chapman, Anthony Chapman, Caitlin Chapman and Emilly Chapman; his great grandchildren, Jace Haley, Sophia Chapman, John Chapman IV, Evah Chapman and Eliana Chapman; his niece Janine Paige; and his nephew Walter "Guy" Chapman.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in his honor.
