She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Wheeler and Blanche Wheeler; her husband Ismael Rivera; her daughters, Virginia Hagaman and Joanne Rivera; her siblings, Robert Wheeler, Betty Emerson and Nancy Underhill; and her granddaughter Jessica Marrotte.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Rivera of Canterbury, CT, James Rivera (Cindy Sandberg) of Thompson, CT, Joyce Grenier of Sebastian, FL and Wayne Rivera (Maryann) of Colchester, CT.; and her siblings, Steven Wheeler (Lynn), James Wheeler, Charles Wheeler (Rhonda), Mary Smith and Donna Lufkin. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
