He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha May Holt (Withey) and Frederick Carpenter Holt; his wife Jean Claire Holt (Laflamme); his sister Florence Holt; and his sons, David Holt, Bruce Holt, Charles Haas and John Wesley Haas.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Brownell (Holt) of Putnam, CT and Brian K. Holt of New London, CT; his foster daughter Sandy Duane (Helen) of Hope Valley, RI; his grandchildren, Jasmine C. Lalumiere, Rachel Gancarz (Holt), Ian Holt, Bruce Holt Jr., Kristi Holt and Storm Bayliss (Hartley); and his daughter-in-law Judy Holt (Anderson). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces.
