He was predeceased by: his mother Jessie Fitzgerald (Curran); his wife Susie Fitzgerald (Sokol); his daughter Lori Fitzgerald; his siblings, Morris "Skip" Fitzgerald (Cheryl), Marie White, Jeannine Cratty (Bob), Maybelle Michaud (Raymond) and Helen Mitchell (Bob); his son-in-law Michael Woodard; and his grandson-in-law Jerry Edwards.
He is survived by: his father Miles Fitzgerald; his children, Karen Antworth (Roger), Myles Fitzgerald (Janet), Amy Sherbak (Mark), Scott Fitzgerald (Christine) and Heidi Foster (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Melissa Sheffield (Franklin), Heather Leigh Edwards, Kate Ruiz-Diaz (Daniel), Ian, Ryan, Madelyn Fitzgerald, Joshua and Juanita Foster; and his siblings, Dean Fitzgerald (Jane) and Faye Austin (Tom). He is also survived by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
