With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Pelkey (Canton, Connecticut), born in Saint Albans, Vermont, who passed away on March 3, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Ralph Pelkey Sr; his sisters, Shirley, Laura and Eleanor; and his niece Mary.
He is survived by: his spouse Anna Pelkey (Kulik); his parent Eunice Pelkey (Mitchell); his children, Karen Evans of Winsted, Sharon Henry (Rob) of Litchfield, Linda Root and Howard Pelkey of New Haven; his grandchildren, Michael, Kari, Kenny Evans, Dan, David Brummert, Nicki, Lyndsay, Justin Root and Casey Root; his great grandchildren, Damon Evans, Jake Reidhaar, Eva Brummert, Cannon Goldschmidt and Lily Horwedel; his sibling Ralph Pelkey, Jr.; his wife LaDonna; his sisters-in-law, Marge Shaffer, Mary Thompson and Grace Kulik; and also, Betty Parrotte, Beverly Parrotte and Iris Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
