With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susie Lillian Fitzgerald of Canton, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Sokol and Maria Sokol (Muntak); her daughter Lori Fitzgerald; her siblings, John Sokol, Michael Sokol, Mary Zucco, Mildred Hudson and Ethel Pennell; her son-in-law Michael Woodard; and her grandson-in-law Jerry Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband William Fitzgerald; her children, Karen Antworth (Roger), Myles Fitzgerald (Janet), Amy Sherbak (Mark), Scott Fitzgerald (Christine) and Heidi Foster (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Melissa Sheffield (Franklin), Heather Leigh Edwards, Kate Ruiz-Diaz (Daniel), Ian, Ryan, Madelyn Fitzgerald, Joshua and Juanita Foster; and her sister Lillian Dotson.
