We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 94, Ruth J. Murray of Canton, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gessner and Ruth Gessner (Bloomer); her husband Laurence Murray Jr.; and her son Laurence Murray III. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Murray and Dean Murray (Anne); and her grandchildren, Lauren O'Connor (Matt), Laura Marlin (Steven), Ashley Murray, Ryan Murray and Jennifer Heffner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to Katsbaan Church in Saugerties or the Humane Society.
