He is survived by: his children, Elisa Velardo (Tom Simon) of Tolland, CT, Nick Velardo III (Michele) and Maureen Healy (Ken) of Torrington, CT.; his grandchildren, Jacob, Alexandra, Lilah Simon, Nicholas, Anthony Velardo, Alyssa Staton (Al), John Russell, Joshua, Giuliana, Lucas, Logan and Noah Healy; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Chesney and Ella Staton; and his sisters, Angela "Chic" Konavaluk of Wolcott, Alyce Tedesco (Frank) of Middlebury and Barbara Bouchard (Philip) of Waterbury.
