With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Berger of Canton, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 6, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Robert "Bob" Berger; her parents, William Hodges and Esther Hodges (Bartlett); and her sisters, Phyllis Chapin, Patricia Woods and Barbara Bardwell.

She is survived by : her son Dana Berger (Kathleen) of Coventry; her grandsons, Godfrey Berger (Casandra Lindsay) of Ellington and Walter Berger of Coventry; her great grandchild Julius Berger of Ellington; and her siblings, Nancy Rice (Brent) of Canton and William Hodges (Sheryl) of Spring Lake, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
