He is survived by : his wife Virginia (Kearns); his sister Barbara Perry of Holliston, MA; his children, Michael Shea (Sherri) of West Hartford and Peg Burgess of Wayland, MA.; his grandchildren, Rick, Jeremy, Hannah, Jake, Riley and Katie; his great grandchildren, Audrey and Owen; and his siblings, Jerry and Joan.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ahern Funeral Home (111 Main St, Unionville, CT 06085). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
