She was predeceased by: her father William P. Cooper (Preston); and her sister Judy Trunick. She is survived by: her mother Alice Cooper-Gatewood (Brown); her grandchild Glen; her pets, Guinness, Cooper and Bella; her children, Debra Swicklas (Michael) of Ellington and Greg Johanns (Lindsay) of Burlington; her partner Glen Forester of Bristol; her grandchildren, Andrew, Justin Swicklas, Micayla Johanns, Jaden Mansfield, Jace Ireland, Zion Jones and Sister Karen Lynn Ryzak (Lynn) of Canton; her stepfather RJ Gatewood of Collins, MS; and her stepdaughters, Amanda Mansfield of New Britain and Kadie Ireland (Mike) of Bristol. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
