With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Belva Y. (Sturgill) Cassell (Canterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on April 13, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester E. Sturgill and Ruth Sturgill (Neighbors); her spouse Lawson L. Cassell; and her daughters, Wanda Graves and Julie Mercier.
She is survived by: her sons, Rickie Cassell (Cindy) and James Cassell (Christina); her grandchildren, Jamie Hammersley, Jessie Mercier, Krystle Aponte, T. J. Cassell, Cory Cassell, Jeremy Cassell and Sarah Messier; and her great grandchildren, Maysen Hammersley, Landon Messier and Owen Cassell. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother.
