He was predeceased by: his parents, Franciszek Chowaniec and Agnieszka Chowaniec (Budz). He is survived by: his wife Maria Chowaniec (Goryl); his children, Helen Pawlowski of Morris, Frank (Magdalena) of Burlington, Josef (Danuta) of Singer Island, FL, Stan (Susan) of Watertown and Michael (Karen) of Harwinton; and his sister Josephine Dziubasik of West Hartford. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Harwinton, CT.
