We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2022, at the age of 88, Robert Lee Neal of Burlington, Connecticut, born in Blooming Grove, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Anne Eliza Carroll; and his former wife Jo Anne Neal. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Anne Leary of Burlington, CT; his daughter Holly LeeAnne Neal Hawkins (Philip Hawkins) of Brooklyn, NY; and his nephew Steven Schwartz of Corsicana, TX.. He is also survived by four step-children, 6 step-grandchildren.
In keeping with his forty-year love affair with UCONN Athletics, particularly men's & women's basketball, donations may be made to the UCONN Athletic fund at the UCONN Foundation at 2390 Alumni Drive, Storrs, CT 06269-3260.
