He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Kraut and Dorothy Kraut (Hoyt). He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Wright); his children, Kim Previti (Vito), Shari Yard (Craig) and Kyle Kraut (Janet); his brother Douglas Kraut (Rosemary); and his grandchildren, Kailyn Yard, Jillian Yard Janco, Emily and Landon Kraut.
