He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice McLaughlin and Lenore Richtmyer; his former wife Jean Remecki; his son Gregory; and his brother Charles McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Grant; his children, Mark (Brigit Lane), Kelli (Dayle Gallagher), Kim (John Weidow), Diane (Robert Webster) and Joseph Caron (Tammy DeVona); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gallagher, Jalena Webster, Conner Lane, Jack Weidow, Reese Weidow, Michael Swanson and Heather DeVona.
