Barbara V. Buchanan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara V. Buchanan (Burlington, Connecticut), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcel LeBlanc and Joannie LeBlanc (Acorn); her son Karl Barnes; her brother Albert Stanley; and her husband James Buchanan Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, James Buchanan Jr. (Barbara) of Bandon, OR., Gary Buchanan of Derry, NH and John Buchanan of West Simsbury; and her grandchildren, April Kennedy of Bloomington, IN., Aaron Barnes of Cleveland, OH and Iona Barnes of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Congregational Church of Burlington (268 Spielman Hwy, Burlington, CT 06013).
