He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Joseph and Dorothy May Hampton (Schaefer); his children, Walter Richard Hampton, Jr. (Ann), Cork, Ireland, Maria Lucy Klimczak (Walter) of Collinsville, Dr. Christopher Kennedy Hampton (Rene), Dr. Thomas Gerard Hampton (Jeanne), Alison Bigman (Jay) of South Windsor, Representative John Kennedy Hampton of Simsbury and Mary Sirianni (Scott) of Simsbury; his grandchildren, Maria Rose Hampton, W. Joseph Hampton (Rachel) and Zachary Hampton; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew, Maile Bigman, Grant Bigman, Iman Sheybani and Amir Sheybani; his great grandchildren, Joseph and Julia Hampton; and his grandmother Kennedy of Omena. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Masks and social distancing will be required at all services.
