It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronique Mathurin of Brooklyn, Connecticut, born in Plainfield, Connecticut, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pratte and Dora Pratte (Gibeault); her spouse Montcalm "Moe" R. Mathurin; her grandson Brian Roberge; her son-in-law Normand Roberge; and her siblings, Eugene Pratte, Lucien Pratte, Lucielle Lafreniere and Pauline Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Beatrice Roberge (Mathurin) of East Killingly and Paul Mathurin; her grandchildren, Melissa (Roberge), Cacciapuoti (Joseph T.), Nicole (Mathurin), Jillian (Mathurin) and Landon (Moses); and her great grandchildren, Jocelyn (Cacciapuoti), Rubino (Peter), Johnathan Cacciapuoti, Faith-Ann Roberge, Aaron Roberge (Taylor), Arianna Delgado, Max Delgado, Colt Delgado, Wes Delgado, Tegan Haley, Chloe Haley, Silas Haley and Rumi Landon.
