He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldona Mongirdas (Zaremba) and Danis Buivydas. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Betsy); his siblings, Daiva Richardson, Aldona Small (Royston), Ruta Jouniari (Nordeen) and Romas Buivydas (Audra); his sons, Christopher Mongirdas (Susan) of Sterling Virginia and Eric Mongirdas (Gillian) of Fairfield Connecticut; and his granddaughters, Leah, Kady and Emma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
