Ruth Hochstetter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2021, at the age of 85, Ruth Hochstetter in Brooklyn, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roscoe Burton and Margorie Burton; her children, Billie Gamble (Pete) of Chapel Hill, NC, Lee Oppert (Denise) of Niantic, Dan Oppert (Jenny) of Lake Placid, FL and Elaine Harrigan (Dan) of Griswold; her brother Henry Burton of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her husband Glenn Hochstetter; her brother Richard Burton of Hershey, PA; and her son Fred Oppert of Thompson. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
