He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forest Albee and Cora Albee (Perrault); his spouse Hazel Albee (LeBlanc); his children, Kim DuBreuil (Ron) of Plainfield, Timothy Albee (Robin) of Brooklyn, Donna Russo (Joe) of Griswold, Leonard Albee Jr. of Brooklyn, Irene Hayward (Dave) of Pomfret, Lori Malstrom (Hal) of Brooklyn and Tabitha Albee of Brooklyn; his niece Lisa Marquis; his significant other Colby; his siblings, Ronald Albee (Marie), James Albee and Rena Morrison; his sons, Jolley Concrete and Cliff Green; and his pets, Teddy, Colby and Thumper. He was also cherished by his 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be mailed to Putnam Bank, 125 Wauregan Rd. Danielson, CT 06239 in memory of Leonard F. Albee, Sr. all donations will be gifted towards a therapy dog in his name.
