He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Profetto; his granddaughter Brandy Nicole; his siblings, Salvatore and Theresa; his daughter-in-law Janet; and his nephews, Gerald and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Lisa (Eric), Kristin (Tom), Jim (Sharon) and Mark (Jenn); his grandchildren, Jack, Samuel, Angelina and Gina; and his siblings, John (Rose), Loretta and Antoinette.
