He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Perkins; and his siblings, Wilbur, Donald, David, Gustave, Theodore and Sylvia (Cynthia).
He is survived by: his children, Elmer and Lottie Peterson (Pansar); his brother Glenn (Sandra); and his children, Debra GrayEagle (Linus) of Fort Yates, ND, Diane Peterson of South Woodstock, CT, Mark Peterson (Ann) of Hudson, NH and Marcia Samuelson (John) of Faith, SD. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
