With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Lussier of Brooklyn, Connecticut, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Ida (Neve) and William F. Heywood; her former husband Raymond Birdsell; and her siblings, Frank Donald Heywood, William Howard Heywood, Charlie Ray Heywood, George Warren Heywood, Helen Hazel Wayman, Dollie Jane Mabbitt, Ruth Elaine Flanagan and Wilma Fern Gidican.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Jr., Lenny, Mark Sr. and Lillian Paschen; and her siblings, Davis, Gale, Leslie, Kenny Heywood, Mary Lewis, Janice Lepage, Marjorie Robak and Charlotte Smith. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
