She was predeceased by: her parents, Iida Luhtio (Anttihilli) and Antti Luhtio; her spouse Veijo R. Rukakoski; and her sons, John and Chris.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Anne Rukakoski Roser (Tim Roser) of Silver Lake, NH, David Rukakoski (Katie LaFrance) of Tolland, CT, Daniel Rukakoski (Lori) of Southampton, MA and Mark Rukakoski (Kathryn) of West Boylston, MA; her daughter-in-law Lisa Rukakoski of Sterling, CT; her grandchildren, Adam, Matthew Roser, Andrew Rukakoski, Zachary, William Rukakoski, Benjamin Rukakoski and Emily Bliven; her great grandchild Amaya Cameron; her sisters, Eeva Kaikkonen and Liisa Jonsson of Helsingborg, Sweden; and her nieces and nephews, Liisa Denoble of Kingston, France and Finland.
