It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Mele of Brooklyn, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 107, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Louis Mele, Sr.; her son Louis; and her husband Mario Maltese. She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis; and her son-in-law Ed Striebel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
