He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph and Mary Gallagher (Gorman); and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Sally Gallagher (Marcinek); his children, Jean Gallagher, Peter Gallagher Jr. (Jane), Jo Gallagher, Jennifer Carnes (Rodney), Pamela McGlynn (Matthew) and Theresa Gallagher; his grandchildren, Ben, Peter, Nicola Gallagher, Jordan, Jack Buchholz, Austin, Turner, Annie Carnes, Noah, Abigail Winzig, Mary McGlynn, Samuel, Emma and Elliot Krebs; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew, Joseph and Lily McGlynn; and his siblings, Julianne, Phil and Stephen Gallagher of Bethel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
